Alternative Water Resources and Deliberation process to renew water supply strategic planing

AWARD aims to improve water management by integrating Alternative Water Resources (AWR) into strategic water supply planning. The ambition is to provide evidence-based knowledge and lessons learned on the effective integration of affordable, acceptable and reliable AWR solutions, tested and monitored in 4 Demonstration Cases.

AIMEN is in charge of operating the pilot plant sited in the Sionlla industrial park ( Santiago de Compostela, Spain) for water runoff treatment by determining the quality of the treated water and validating its (re) use in the most appropriate field according to the quantity recovered, the quality of the water and the needs agreed with legislation and the stakeholders (public administration, associations, companies, etc.).
