Innovation ecosystem to stimulate and enhance the adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) technologies in strategic markets

The Go! Innovation Ecosystem, funded by the call for grants for Innovation Ecosystems based on Cervera Excellence Networks by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), is an environment aimed at promoting the development of projects and businesses in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM). Its ultimate goal is to strengthen and bring together the main national AM leaders to accelerate the adoption of this technology in the industry and unlock its transformative potential in terms of new products, services, and business models enabled by AM, regardless of the processes and materials used.

Currently, barriers still exist for the full adoption and implementation of AM technologies in the industry, primarily related to knowledge gaps. Therefore, it is crucial to enhance knowledge transfer and provide specific training to the industry, particularly regarding validation/certification, to ensure proper implementation in key sectors. The Go! Ecosystem will help overcome these barriers, aiming to capitalize on public and private R&D investments and transform them into competitive and sustainable value for various industrial sectors.

In this project, AIMEN will participate in activities such as lead generation, matchmaking, commercialization, training, and dissemination, among others. AIMEN will contribute to promoting the capabilities of the AM ecosystem while strengthening them.
