The aim of RACON is to develop new manufacturing technologies and methodologies, based on augmented reality and intended to shipbuilding industry, by means of a new flexible tool concept capable of assisting workers in shipbuilding supervision. On this matter, RACON outlines the development of industry 4.0 tools, focused on the user, that will allow to improve the interaction between user and management systems.
These developed technologies are expected to affect possitively manufacturing eficiency, lead-time, innovative capacity of processes and working conditions.
In this context, AIMEN is in charge of the automation of advanced systems and the control of intelligent autonomous systems.
