Development of a smart measuring system for control and calibration in the process of maintenance and manufacture of logistics containers in the automotive industry, with high accuracy and efficiency, thanks to the computer vision technology and specific calibration techniques, and interaction with the operator. The system will be able to determine geometric properties and 3D positions of containers, so that the coordinates of the points of interest in the columns, arms or supports of the pieces that are located in its interior and its relative distances will be established. The project will have therefore a high impact in productive automated facilities, since any problem that arises in the handling of the parts can cause the total stop of the process or damage in the robots involved, with the consequent economic impact and temporary deviations. In addition to failure detection, intelligent and predictive character of the system allows to present the operator in real time guidelines for calibration, clear and visually. TASKS AIMEN: definition of machine vision algorithms, definition of 3D calculation systems and comparison with tolerances, development of viewing and graphing systems or development of architecture of data processing system to take decisions to infer trends and development of vision software.
