FISIOROB project proposes a new rehabilitation solution based on robotics and virtual environments, together with acquisition signals system for use in the recovery of mobility of the upper extremities of patients in need of neuromotor rehabilitation.
The three main results of the project are:
-Development of a modular robotic system with an integrated control based on open source ROS (Robotic Operating System).
-Development of a muscles signals acquisition system.
-Development of a virtual reality system that encourages the patient to develop rehabilitation exercises.
AIMEN Technology Center through the Department of Robotics and Control contribute, with its experience in the design of industrial robot and control systems, in the development of control force/torque system, in the mechanical design and especially in the control and integration of each of the systems involved in the prototype.
