Advanced systems to intelligent manufacture and reparation of components by laser cladding

The CLADPLUS project is focused on the development and industrial implementation of components and control systems allow guaranteeing the quality of laser cladding process, increasing the useful life of the repaired components. To develop components and systems needed to ensure the industrial reliability of laser cladding systems, such as:
- Development of software which will be able to generate automatic paths for reparation by laser cladding from the image of the part to be repaired and the final geometry.
-Development of specific laser cladding nozzles oriented towards greater accuracy, productivity and accessibility.
-Development of a close loop control system of laser cladding process.
-Development of a laser cladding adaptative system which modifies parameters process from geometric variations between the part to be repaired and the reference part.
The role of the AIMEN technological Center in this project, focuses on the development of the closed loop control system of laser cladding process, based on the control of the melt pool width with the target of preventing accumulation heat during the process, so, this aspect has a great influence on the dilution between base and added material and therefore on the cladding final properties.
