The main objective of the TRHISENS project is to develop an integral solution for the real-time monitoring of organic matter dissolved in drinking water. TRIHSENS project will overtake the drawbacks of the current methodology like a long response time, the high costs associated and the analytic efforts and high qualified workers dedication. Thus, it will guarantee an efficient management and protection of a vital resource as the water is. AIMEN has participated in the sensor adaption to the targeted pollutant and in the development of the prediction model and decision support system. As results of this project, it will be obtained an integrated solution for the determination and prediction of potentially dangerous pollutants formation in drinking water. Consequently, the quality of this water will be improved, reducing the human health and environmental risks associated and providing a tool for water management companies.
